Why is art so important to me?

I wonder sometimes why creating, “making” and building is so important to me. Why do I create art experiences and art for me … and others? One thing I’ve learned, we do what we love whether that is good or bad. We “vote with our feet” my husband says.

I absolutely seek from this world organic materials that can create an organic atmosphere for my house and body. Taking a walk to the park and seeing the colors and textures of flowers, plants and along the way, the gardens and home decor are so inspiring. My head fills with projects using the plants and colors I’ve seen. We all see these things, but I want to create dye with the plants and see what colors I can create. It goes past art. I want to experiment with growing all plants I find interesting, simulating plants with metal, paper and paint and even fabric.

Travel and nature is full of things to forage, photograph, save and collect. It is so amazing!

I’m working on some new projects and ways to share art, inspiration and to inspire others about DIY garden, art and fun projects that create amazing home and garden organic projects. You will love it if you are here and reading this now. I promise.
