What a great weekend at the Stanley Marketplace this weekend. This venue was the perfect place for my concrete houses and urban garden. There were so many awesome artists, great food and entertainment for everyone. Cherry Creek Arts took great care of the artists and created a wonderful fall show in this renovated urban neighborhood warehouse.
Art shows like this aren’t just about the sales, but the connections you make with artists and the public. I totally loved showing kids my artwork and having them guess what the sculptures were made of…. seaweed, lichen, windshield glass etc. I promised to put some videos of the processes on the blog so I’ll get those up soon.
Thanks Cherry Creek Arts for a great weekend. I’m already designing more “house” art for 2016… can’t wait to get in the studio!
