Now that the crazy busy season of the holidays is almost over, I’m back on track preparing for spring art shows and most of them have to do with FOSSILS!!    We will build rubbing stations where visitors can interact with real  fossils and plants (and also our abstract versions).  I practiced with materials and technique while in San Francisco.

Fossils and concrete, plaster, wax, metal, wood and paper.  Laser cutters, 3D printers and some new technology has been so much fun to explore and learn about.  Working with scientists and techies from our own University of Wyoming campus where we have access to some amazing technology has been very fulfilling for my artwork!

I’m also working on new jewelry designs. Many involve laser and 3D technology but also include my traditional techniques and materials (enamel, concrete, paper etc)

Can’t wait to organize the studio for 2016!

Happy New Year!
